Shacklebuster Ministries wasn’t born out of a grand plan, but a moment of inspiration. In 2000, our founder felt the weight of burdens carried by many – emotional and spiritual shackles that kept them from experiencing true freedom in their faith.
That’s why we exist: to create a safe space for healing and deliverance. We believe in the power of continuous faith to move mountains of doubt and the healing touch of love.

Sparks
At Fresh Fire, we believe that teens are the sparks of the flame for tomorrow. Each year, we host a special youth component as part of our annual Fresh Fire event, specifically designed for our "SPARKS." This retreat is dedicated to sparking a lifelong love of God, encouraging and empowering young people to discover, understand, and walk confidently in their gifts, no matter their age or stage in life. They aren’t just the church of tomorrow; they are the church of today.
Man Down Man Up Man Above
We live in a space and time when the pendulum has shifted to far and men find themselves silenced, overlooked, and needs unmet. It seems that they are to provide what is wanted and needed with no reciprocation. There is a void felt even in worship places and spaces to the unique needs that they have. This is where Shacklebuster Ministries steps in with their male specific settings known as Man Down, Man Up Man Above. It is the safe space where men can share and care and receive without judgment, without condemnation, withholding nothing. It is the place where they reach down and help one another up and then together rise above.

We believe that age is just a number, and the wisdom and experience of our older adults are invaluable. Our Seasoned Citizens is dedicated to providing a supportive community and enriching the lives of our senior members.

We were looking for a way to connect with our grandchildren and nurture their faith. Then my wife heard about a ‘Kids Have Shackles Too Mini Conference’ provided by Shacklebuster Ministries. As if God was answering our prayers they were going to be at a church near us. What a wonderful experience! The interactive lessons and age-appropriate activities have sparked a love for God’s stories in our grandkids. The girls are even excited to be reaching the age to attend a Fresh Fire Sparks Retreat. It’s a joy to watch them grow in faith together

I sat in a sanctuary feeling as if I was wasting my time and that the only thing that could come out of this “Total Conference Experience” was that my wife would not be able to say that I never do anything with her. I was thinking “Great another woman that doesn’t get it and I’m about to be beat up and male bashed the rest of the day” What a surprise I had. This woman stood up and began to speak about the space that men have been regulated to. The disparity of so many things and my entire experience. Challenged she stated, “I have raised men, I have worked with me in my profession, like it or not, it is the truth.” Then she announced that there would be a session taking place concurrently specifically for men. I was captivated as she spoke life into us, energized the room, and charged us to stand up and rise above and take our place in not just the kingdom but the world. I was so sad when she said, “I must leave you in the capable hands of your facilitators today because the truth is that I am not a man. I understand you, I’ve studied you, I intercede for you and I can even teach you what healthy women desire in a man but I can never get into the man experience but God is faithful and has blessed my team with MEN that will take you from your current position to the position that you long to be in…and remember men, God has the most amazing plan for you” With that she was gone and this day changed my life. Joining my wife for the evening worship service Dr Patti as she is called asked for the men who had attended the day settings to come to the front and she prayed for each of us. I felt everything that had weighed me down break off of me. I left with my shackles busted.

We currently offer the "Called to Care" training program online, which equips individuals with the skills to provide compassionate support to others facing difficulties. We are constantly exploring ways to expand our online offerings, so stay tuned for future updates!
