“But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad …” Matthew 9:36

When we hear the phrase Compassionate Care we often think of Hospice or tending to people who are dying. Well, that is what we have in our congregations and communities today; people who are dying because of the special circumstances that they find themselves or their loved ones in, dying because they love the Lord yet find themselves separated in various ways. Have you ever wondered what to say to these individuals that is not simply throwing catch phrases, rules and condemnation at them? Has your heart broken for them as you interceded for them in prayer? Have you wondered what can you say that would plant a seed, show you care, let them know that you are there for them?

Called to care is a certificated training through Shacklebuster Ministries. This training is available for all persons in the body of Christ credentialed and laity for the purposes of helping us to compassionately help our brothers and sisters who find themselves in unique situations, as well as demonstrate ways in which we can love these persons back to life.
